When a maintenance procedure is required, it usually will involve removal of the part being repaired or
replaced. Renewal procedures are given only to the extent necessary to repair or replace authorized parts.
4-14 PITOT AND STATIC SYSTEMS TESTER CALIBRATION

Maintenance of the Pitot and Static Systems Tester consists of periodic recalibration. Calibration cannot be
performed at AVIM level because a calibrated pressure/vacuum test gauge is required.
