4.6.1.2 Installation (continued).

Set power input breaker from facility to ON position and remove tag.

Refer to TM 5-6350-280-10 and power on UPS. Check that output of UPS is 120 Vac.

Plug in CMA and computer power cables. Connect UPS cable assembly to AC INPUT FAIL ALARM.

following standard shop safety
precautions.
4.6.2.1 Removal.
WARNING
Do not remove CMA with 120 Vac power on. Always work with another person
nearby who is familiar with hazards of electronic equipment and is competent in
administering first aid. Failure to obey this warning could result in death or injury.
a.
Using key, unlock and open rear access door (1) of CMA.
b.
Unplug CMA power cable.
c.
Tag and disconnect UPS Cable (2) from I/O Card (3) J1.
d.
Remove UPS Cable (2) from CMA.
e.
Tag and disconnect RS-485 Cable Assembly (4) from I/O Card (3) J2.
f.
Remove RS-485 Cable Assembly (4) from CMA.
g.
Tag and disconnect twisted pairs (5) from Surge Suppressor CCA terminal boards (6).
h.
Remove twisted pairs (5) from CMA.
i.
Close and lock rear access door (1).
j.
Remove CMA.
